Silversmithing 5 week course starts Wednesday 11th October 2017


Basic jewellery and silversmithing 5 session course (£85)

Wednesdasy 7-9 pm
11th, 18th October, (a week off for half term), 1st, 8th, 15th November

Learn basic wire and metalworking techniques, including silversmithing basics, wirework, cutting, shaping, texturing to soldering. You can then take the basic techniques further by developing your own designs in different metals and/or by incorporating with beads and other materials.

The course is designed to allow you to develop your own jewellery designs; Anna will introduce a key skill each week and support you in making your own idea.

The price includes basic materials such as copper/brass and findings, but silver isn’t included in the price, however you can buy it at cost price from The Making House throughout the course (most people use between £10 and £20 worth of silver depending on their projects)

Due to the intensity of this course, numbers are limited to 6 people.
