Please e.mail Anna via [email protected] if you would like to be added to the reserve list or if you'd be interested in a Summer course.
Learn the basics of Silversmithing and how to work in both wire and sheet metal; from cutting and shaping to soldering then texturing, forming and finally finishing your pieces. You'll learn a variety of basic techniques through developing your own designs in different metals and/or by incorporating with beads and other materials.
The course is suitable for beginners and is designed to allow you to develop your own simple jewellery designs; Anna will introduce a key skill each week and support you in making your own idea.
The price includes basic materials such as copper/brass and findings, but silver isn’t included in the price, however it will be supplied to you at cost price from The Making House throughout the course (most people use between £10 and £25 worth of silver depending on the size of their projects)
Due to the intensity of this course, numbers are limited to 5 people.
Hopefully everything is back to normal now, but should there be further Covid restrictions, you will be offered an alternative series of dates or a refund if you prefer.
