Felt Landscape Picture 2 week Course, £60
Wednesdays, 14th and 28th February, 6.30 - 9pm.
Your felt picture will be based on one of your own landscape images; you will be given guidance on what picture to choose.
Week 1, 6.30 -9pm
Learn the basics of wet felting and create a base for your picture in
Week 2, 6.30 -9pm
Take your design a step further by adding needle felt detail to your picture
This is a studio based workshop, but if you'd like to join me online using microsoft teams, it would work well. As well as having live tuition on the evenings, you will have access to a private facebook group where Anna will share videos and tips for felting your pictures.
Wet felting is a lovely technique suitable for all, but it can be hard work, you'll be using the hands, arms and wrists quite a bit, so please bear this in mind when booking.
These felting workshops are suitable for beginners or people wanting to develop their needle felting skills further. You will be clearly guided through the process and different felting techniques, but do please remember it takes time to learn a skill!
Our felting sessions differ from kits in that they enable you to learn the full process of both wet and needle felting; how to use your needles properly for different effect, how to create forms and what fibres to use.
Price includes all materials
If you'd like to join us online there's an additional charge of £8 for putting the pack together and postage. The pack will include a couple of needles, but please provide your own felting block (A piece of upholstery foam, works perfectly, so you may wish to source yourself separately). You will also need a towel and water for the wet felting.
