Join Stevie Davies, Contemporary Glass Artist and Tutor to create your own free standing curved sculpture or flat panel full of colour and texture.
Create a special seasonal glass piece, of course if you don't fancy going festive you're welcome to go with a landscape, seascape or abstract theme.

2-4pm. Price £55 (materials and firings included)
Come and play with precut glass shapes, glass rods, frit balls and frit to make a design based on a winter landscape. Frost bitten hills or a forests of pine trees all with sparkling snow. A fabulous seasonal make which will result in a lovely free standing curve or waved piece of glass approx. 37cmx7.5cm which looks fab with a row twinkling fairy lights behind it or just at on your mantle this Christmas.
All work needs to be taken back to my studio for firing and finishing. It will be ready for collection in approximately 3 weeks.

About the tutor:
Stevie Davies Glass is a contemporary glass artist based in Wirksworth, Derbyshire. She specialises in warm glass processes to create beautiful art, sculptures, home décor and jewellery. Stevie’s devotion to the material, experimental approach to kiln fusing techniques, love of colour and texture, shines through and gives her pieces a wonderfully distinctive style. She shares her love of glass with tailored workshops at her studio space in Wirksworth and we're excited that she's joining us here at The Making House for this taster workshop.
