Gelliplate Monoprint Landscapes with Rebecca Jarman

Join Rebecca for a full day exploring monoprinting techniques using a Gelliplate. You will spend the morning creating multiple unique prints with interesting surfaces using water based printing inks, rollers, various colours and stencils.
In the afternoon you will use your prints to build a beautiful landscape collage that will be finished with a mount ready for framing and displaying in your home.
This workshop is suitable for those who have no previous experience of printmaking and also those who want to explore monoprinting techniques and expand their skills. All tools and materials will be provided on the day including reference images to inspire your landscape design. All you need to bring is an openness to play and experiment.
Rebecca has been delivering printmaking workshops locally for eight years working with different community groups in Swadlincote and Burton. She loves working with a combination of natural elements and man-made stencils to create exciting unique monoprints and says, “ it always brings me joy to watch everyone’s first prints being revealed and I’m always inspired by the variety of magnificent prints produced by participants”.
