Gelliplate Monoprinted Lamps

Price includes all materials, refreshments and a simple home cooked lunch.
Join Rebecca for a full day exploring monoprinting techniques using a Jelly plate.
Rebecca will do several demonstrations throughout the day explaining each of the processes you will use in detail.
You will spend the morning creating multiple unique botanical prints using water based printing inks, brayers, various colours and a range of flowers, weeds and grasses.
In the afternoon you will make selections, assemble your prints into a design and attach them to your lamp.
This workshop is suitable for those who have no previous experience of printmaking and also those who want to explore monoprinting techniques and expand their skills. All tools and materials will be provided on the day. All you need to bring is an openness to play and experiment.
Rebecca has been delivering printmaking workshops locally for nine years working with different community groups Swadlincote and Burton. She enjoys working with a combination of natural elements and man made stencils to create exciting and unique monoprints and says…
