Sat 14th June, 10 - 5, £85
Price includes all materials, refreshments and a homemade veggie lunch.
Learn basic silversmithing skills and create a simple pendant/keyring/earrings or brooch.
Through the course of the day you’ll learn the basics of how to work with sheet metal, including:
- different methods of cutting out and shaping,
- texturing, stamping and simple forming of the metal
- how to solder
- and then how to finish your piece.
You'll start with a practise piece in copper and then create your own designs in silver or a combination of the two. Some basic jewellery making skills are helpful but not necessary.
Your tutor Anna, is at hand to help you develop your design if needed. You’ll be working in copper and an allocated amount of silver to create your final piece/pieces.
Create your own personalised jewellery for gifts or just for your self and learn the basics of how to work with Sheet Metal along the way.
