Small Wire Snowflake.

Wednesday 20th November, 6.30 – 9pm, £35

Learn various wire forming techniques and create a wonderful everlasting snowflake.
We'll all start with learning the basic technique and do a little practise tree. You will then go on to create your snowflake.

The snowflake we’ll make in this evening session is approximately 20cm in diameter. If you’d like to buy a kit for a larger version, (55cm diameter), which uses the same technique, you can order one on the evening. The large version is a time consuming and repetitive project, but it does look amazing so it’s well worth the effort.

You’ll get a handout to remind you of how to do the snowflake and also how to make smaller versions, as well as suggestions for suppliers so you can make more at home.

The workshop is a nice way to learn basic metalwork and jewellery making skills. Please note though, the technique is repetitive, so it may be tiring on your hands, so please bare this in mind if you have any issues with hand strength.

The workshop is delivered by Anna Roebuck from The Making House in Burton on Trent; Anna has been delivering specialist workshops for over 18 years and will support you in creating your own amazing piece of artwork in a relaxed setting.
