£95.00
Tetra Pak & Wire Printmaking Workshop
with Priscilla Edwards
Sat 20th June 2026, 10.00 – 4.00pm, £95
All equipment and materials are included in the price as well as refreshments throughout the day and a homecooked lunch. Spaces are limited to 6 people to ensure you receive plenty of attention and get lots of time on the press.
Explore the endless possibilities of printmaking using Tetra Pak food cartons. These food containers offer a sustainable resource to produce printing plates instead of using metal etching plates.
This unique way of printing is suitable for all skill levels, Priscilla will demonstrate techniques including cutting, peeling, and scratching the foil-lined cardboard to create textured intaglio-style prints using oil-based inks and an etching press.
You will work at your own pace to create an image or design of your own. You will also
explore manipulating light weight wire to create a second print that will overlay your tetrapak print.
All equipment and materials are provided, but you may wish to bring along an idea/design to work from (simple is best) or your sketchbook and pencils to get ideas together. Plus if you wish, any extra paper or fabric you might like to try printing on.
Priscilla always encourages you to develop pieces of work that reflect
your own ideas.
